Bitx20 Version 3 from VU3SUA Construction Notes I have been building this board from past few days and was searching for some help regarding the tuning parts of various sections. And I asked Sunil to help me with some images, notes and he updated his blogs with a couple of pictures. BITX20 designed by Ashhar Farhan. The BITX20 is a low technology transceiver designed to use 'simple' components and is easily adapted to other bands, I quickly manufactured a variant for 80M (version 1). The radio presented here is a development of that; now at version 3. Many changes have been made through my experience with the first. Since that time there have been many BITX transceivers built using 'ugly construction' method, and several now offer kit versions for 20 meters, and other bands: QRPKITS.COM BITX20A, BITX17A, BITX40A. In addition, there have been several PCB layouts published via the discussion group, and a PCB set for Farhan's original BITX20 is available from.
